“I am passionate about photography, particularly about Black & White.
Although I have a predilection for architecture, I don’t have a defined genre because I like to immortalize everything that arouses emotions in me.
Just like in everyday life, I want to keep the door open to every possibility that may arise.”
Simona Savini’s preference for Black & White testifies to a constant introspective quest that the artist expresses in the different realms that she approaches, not only photographically: architecture, nature, philosophy and ancient history.
Self-taught, she has developed and refined the technique of black & white thanks to mentoring and comparison with experts, such as the renowned photographer from Bologna, Fabrizio Arginetti.
