Altin Shuaipi was born in Durrës, Albania in 1974.
Following graduation from the Fine Arts High School in Durrës, he completed his training at the Accademia di Belle Arti fine arts academy in Florence.
Over time he has perfected his study and use of photography and of photographic techniques, turning it into an instrument all his own to investigate the world.
The main theme on which Altin Shuaipi focuses his work is man, both as an object to explore in portrait and as a element that acts on and influences nature, modifying the surrounding environment and, consequently, himself.
He currently lives in Durres where he works as a teacher of drawing art.
“Photography for me is a means to investigate and understand the world around me, the one that impresses and moves me. Most of my work is focused on portrait and people and on the influence of man on nature.”
